Membership & Annual Subscriptions
Now that we are past the mid-way point in the year, any new members who join the Society will be granted membership through the end of 2019. The annual membership fee for the 2019 calendar year remains at 40€, with a reduced rate of 20€ for members under 30. The Society's AGM in May 2018 introduced the Country Members category, for those alumni whose principal residence is outside the Ile de France Region. Country Members are entitled to a 50% discount, and so standard membership is 20€ per annum and 10€ for younger members.
Current undergraduate and graduate students of Cambridge University are entitled to become members free of charge, with that membership running to the end of the 3rd year after first joining the Society (meaning that the membership of a current student joining in 2018 is valid until 31st December 2021).
Please note that the membership form is in the process of being updated to include the Country Member category. The new form will be available on the website shortly and in the meantime a copy of the form can be obtained on request from firstname.lastname@example.org.
Membership is for a calendar year with annual subscriptions being collected at the beginning of each year. These are payable in the following manner:
- a Euro denominated cheque*, drawn on a French bank (or French branch of a non-French bank) made out to "The Cambridge Society of Paris" and mailed to:
Cambridge Society of Paris, c/o Tony Banton, 39 rue de Bazeilles, 59200 Tourcoing (please do not use the registered
office address in Paris as we do not collect the post from there very often)
- An electronic transfer in Euros to the Society’s bank account. Our bank details are provided on the membership form.
- A standing order in favour of the “Cambridge Society of Paris” for payment each January. Our bank details are provided on the membership form.
